Professor Bharat Bhushan is One of the Most Highly Cited Researchers from All Fields of Study
This February, a list of the 1,612 most highly cited researchers, according to a Google Scholar Citations database, was published. The list of researchers, with an h-index of more than 100, includes living and deceased scientists from all fields.
Howard D. Winbigler Professor Bharat Bhushan, an Ohio Eminent Scholar, was one of only seven professors from The Ohio State University to be featured on the list.
Bhushan’s ranking is 1,235 on this list. His h-index is 106, with 53,870 citations. The data for the ranking, which was collected during the second week of February, comes from a list of the most highly cited researchers according to their declared presence in the Google Scholar Citations' public profiles database.
Bhushan’s h-index on Web of Science is more than 80. He has been an Institute for Scientific Information (ISI) Highly Cited Researcher in the field of materials science since 2007, in biology and biochemistry since 2013, and one of ISI’s Top Five Percent Cited Authors for Journals in chemistry since 2011.
The rankings list was created through the Webometrics Ranking of World Universities initiative, sponsored by Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC), the largest public research body in Spain.
